Treefellers Ltd have been RISQS (Link-up) approved suppliers for the UK rail industry for 7 years and have completed high profile railway contracts all over the UK and operate on nationwide contracts.

Our teams are experienced in undertaking major and minor tree and scrub clearance works to facilitate rail improvement works as well as undertaking vegetation control services for the maintenance of the railway infrastructure throughout the UK.

Tree surgery and de-vegetation teams

We provide competent tree surgery and de-vegetation teams who are Lantra/NPTC trained and are able to undertake a range of tree surgery activities including tree removal, tree pruning, tree planting, scrub and vegetation clearance, weed killing and stump removal.

For operations to be undertaken lineside, teams with experienced operatives holding Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificate are available for day or night contracted work.

PTS IRATA multi-skilled rope access teams

For vegetation removal from bridges, railway structures and railway embankments we also provide multi-skilled IRATA rope access teams utilising industrial rope access methods also experienced and competent to undertake de-vegetation activities allowing the work to be undertaken safely and in a cost effective and controlled manner.

For operations to be undertaken lineside, teams with experienced rope access technicians holding Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificate are available for day or night contracted work.

Mechanical tree and vegetation clearance

Treefellers Limited are experienced in undertaking major tree and vegetation rail clearance work to facilitate rail improvement and earthwork projects. We have an extensive catalogue of specialist forestry and tree clearing plant to facilitate a safe, efficient and cost effective clearance to be undertaken.

Available plant for major rail vegetation clearance projects include a range of excavators with tree shears and flail attachements, mechanically fed wood chippers, forestry loaders, forestry mulchers, winches, stump grinders, forestry tractor and timber trailer and Unimog.
